by YoAdrian (Posted Tue, 29 Jul 2008 19:17:51 +0000) They wont change the judging. Judging the fight is the last way in which a promoter can try and fix the result of a fight. Look at the fight between Glenn Johnson and Chad Dawson. Dawson would have been lucky to scrape a draw on anyones score card who hadn’t received a bribe, lo and behold Dawson wins a UD.
They always pick the most marketable fighter as the winner, usually flying in the face of common sense.
When Castillo fought Mayweather the first time, most people had Castillo winning by 3 or 4 points, yet Mayweather somehow wins a UD. These bullshit decisions are not good for boxing.
The problem is that scoring a fight is about perception. To my mind, whoever hits the other guy more, should win the fight.
If it comes to it, they should delay the result of the fight and go through each round with a fine tooth comb in slow motion and see exactly how mnay scoring punches were landed by each fighter, and do away with fight night judges entirely. Who, lets face it, arent impartial.

by YoAdrian (Posted Tue, 29 Jul 2008 19:07:00 +0000) The way to get muscles in ur stomach to appear is to just lose fat overall.
Doing sit ups and what not will strengthen your stomach but wont do anything for definition, you could be doing 500 a day and see no result.
If you lose fat then you will see them.
That is why all these ads on tv about ab machines are a crock. If you arent dieting you will never get a defined stomach.
Also unfortunately in men, the last fat to go is the stomach fat. We are predisposed to carry fat on our stomach because it doesnt get in the way and doesnt affect balance as much as if you had a fat head or fat arms or fingers!
So lose weight overall and you’ll see results. Do some situps but you need an overall workout not just stomach.

Antonio Margarito has claimed the WBA Welterweight title with an 11th round technical knockout of Miguel Cotto. The crowd at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, were treated to one of the fights of the century as both men gave it their all. Miguel Cotto began the fight by boxing on the back foot, moving laterally and countering the advancing Margarito at every opportunity. By contrast, Margarito’s game plan consisted of trying to cut the ring off and fire body shots at Cotto, trying to slow him down as the fight progressed. One of the most ominous signs for Cotto was that although he was able to breach Margarito’s defence, seemingly at will, he failed to hurt him at any stage. Margarito demonstrated his almost inhuman ability to absorb punches without effect throughout the fight as Cotto continued to land quick and accurate combinations.
Margarito started to land significant punches in the fifth round as his constant pressure began to tell; he was able to simply walk through Cotto’s punches. Cotto’s ability to continue boxing off the back foot and maintain his lateral movement seemed to slow dramatically, enabling Margarito to land powerful uppercuts and bodyshots, stunning Cotto and bloodying his face.
In the 11th round Margarito seemd to sense Cotto’s weakening state, pressuring him with yet more hooks and uppercuts. A sweeping left hook caught Cotto flush on the jaw, forcing him to take a knee. Margarito followed up his onslaught with another barrage of punches, forcing a tired and bloodied Cotto to slump to the canvas, his corner stopping the fight and saving him from any more punishment.
